GOOD MEDICINE LODGE, Whitefish

Good Medicine Lodge has 6 rooms, each with a private bathroom and vaulted ceilings. The Huckleberry Suite features a king bed, gas log fireplace, and a private balcony with backyard views. The bathroom includes a jetted tub, a two-person therapeutic Swiss shower, and radiant flooring. The Great Northern Suite has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and skylight, and another with two twin beds, showcasing square cedar log construction. The Glacier Suite includes a king bed in a private bedroom and a queen bed in the common living area, a large bathroom with a jetted tub and shower, a covered porch, fenced yard, gas grill, and fire pit. Mountain View is a first-floor accessible room with a king bed, a tiled curbless rain shower, and a recycled glass vanity. The Flathead room features Native American artwork, a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, and a skylight in the bathroom. Black Bear room has a king bed (can be split into two twin beds), vaulted wood ceilings, and a private skylit bathroom, with Big Mountain views from the balcony. Some rooms have garden views and a gas log fireplace.

Each morning, Good Medicine Lodge serves a warm breakfast made with fresh, organic, and local ingredients. Garden-grown herbs and Good Medicine Coffee are included. Packed breakfasts are available with advance notice. Bonsai Brewery Project is next door. The lodge composts scraps when possible and sources produce from the local Farmer's Market on Tuesday evenings, May through September.

Good Medicine Lodge is near Glacier National Park and Whitefish Lake. Guests can traverse aerial adventure parks by crossing cable bridges and climbing rope ladders. The lodge is near boating destinations like Whitefish Lake, Hungry Horse Reservoir and Tally Lake. Other activities include biking on 55 miles of trails, cross-country skiing at Glacier Nordic Center, and disc golf. In winter, dog sledding and downhill skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort are available. Guests can use the hot tub on Tuesday evenings.

Good Medicine Lodge is in Whitefish, Montana, 25 km from Glacier Park International Airport. Bonsai Brewery Project is next door. Whitefish offers sites that serve travelers by Amtrak. The lodge provides free parking. The Flathead Tribe surrounds northwestern Montana.
